A Centenary of Rocky Springs

G”Day Mob,

Congratulations – we’re 100!

That’s right – one hundred posts and here is a map of the world according to Rocky Springs showing all of the lands from which Rambles readers have come:

Heartfelt thanks to all of you who have come along for the ride: the fellow bloggers, the regular commentators, the likers and the followers, the friends I have made along the way and the voyeurs who watch quietly (I know you’re out there!).

And what a ride it’s been. In 100 posts we have:

And if you’re keen to keep reading here is some of what you can look forward to as we head into the second centenary of Rocky Springs Rambles:

  • we’ll tour the opal fields
  • and get the heads-up on our local legend – the Black Panther
  • we’ll go on a morning muster
  • you’ll see why Clyde is now known as the One-eyed one
  • you’ll meet more bloody dogs
  • learn what Wedge-tailed eagles like for lunch
  • we’ll paddle central Queensland
  • and maybe, just maybe we’ll make friends with the Black Fiend

Hope you can all stick around.

  1. I’m really hoping that wedge tailed eagles don’t eat foxy eyes for lunch…

Congratulations – have a bit of catching up to do as I have only been part of your world for a few months.

    • G’Day Sue,
Welcome to the mob. Read through the Cast of Characters and one or two of the above posts and you’ll be up to speed pretty quickly, but as Lyle says, you never know what’s going to happen around here.
How did you find the Rambles?

  3. Thank you for giving us all a view into your lives out there! Always an enjoyable read!

  4. One of the main reasons I keep sticking around is that I never know what’s coming next – and even when I see the titles I still don’t know! Congrats on 100. That is a fantastic accomplishment.

  5. Congratulations on your 100 posts. Love your blog and look forward to many more posts to come.

  6. Congratulations on your 100th Mandy. Always a great read and I look forward to the next 100.
